About the F24-keeb PCB
F24-keeb is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by Fork0n, published on GitHub under the CC-BY-4.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 409.7 × 150.7 mm, with 362 components from 16 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the RaspberryPi_Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. Other key parts include the ER_OLEDM0.91_1X-I2C and MCP23017X-X-SO. By type, the board carries 110 switches, 107 diodes, 105 LEDs, 31 capacitors, 4 resistors and 2 ICs.
It belongs with the keyboards designs in this gallery.
From the project
ever wished to have or use a keyboard with 2!!! function rows? no? well it's here anyways! by having 2 function rows with F13-F24 keys + 5 macro keys + 2 dials you can now have up to 19* customizable keys! that's like a built in streamdeck! and all of that while never leaving your keyboard!
*assuming you remap all 12 additional function keys + 5 macros + 2 dial on click

F24-keeb: common questions
What microcontroller does the F24-keeb use?
The F24-keeb is built around the RaspberryPi_Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.
How big is the F24-keeb PCB?
The F24-keeb measures 409.7 × 150.7 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the F24-keeb?
362 components, from 16 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the F24-keeb design files?
From the Fork0n/F24-keeb repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the F24-keeb design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its CC-BY-4.0 license, which Fork0n chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the F24-keeb without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
