From the project

Guitar pedal using a stm32h7 microcontroller programmed with CubeIDE (PCB and Firmware)

This is a custom STM32 digital guitar pedal with firmware programmed in c++ using STM32CubeIDE. It uses a STM32H7B0 Arm Cortex-M7 microcontroller running at 280MHz with 1.4MB SRAM and 128kb of flash. The PCB is designed using KiCad, and the JLCpcb Gerbers are included for easy ordering. This pedal is capable of reverbs, delays, granular, filtering, amp and cabsims, and anything else you can think up.

GuitarPedalSTM32: common questions

What microcontroller does the GuitarPedalSTM32 use?

The GuitarPedalSTM32 is built around the STM32H7B0VBT6, from the STM32 family.

How big is the GuitarPedalSTM32 PCB?

The GuitarPedalSTM32 measures 60 × 95 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6268 mm thick.

How many components are on the GuitarPedalSTM32?

101 components, from 47 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the GuitarPedalSTM32 design files?

From the GuitarML/GuitarPedalSTM32 repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the GuitarPedalSTM32 design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which GuitarML chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the GuitarPedalSTM32 without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
