About the Gas sensor PCB
Gas sensor is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by Hackuarium, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 100 × 100 mm, with 32 components from 24 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the ATmega328P-AU, from the AVR/Arduino family. Other key parts include the DS18B20, DHT22 and MCP1703A-1202_SOT23. By type, the board carries 7 capacitors, 6 resistors, 4 ICs, 3 connectors, 3 diodes and 2 transistors.
It belongs with the sensors designs in this gallery.
From the project
Arduino compatible gas sensor
The goal is to create a box allowing the determination of the gas composition of a bioreactor. The sensor that will be available are: CO2 (MH-Z19), H2 (MQ-8) and methane (MQ-4) as well as temperature (DS18B20) and humidity (DHT-22).
The board will be compatible with arduino Lilapad Pro using a dedicated PCB.
Need to compensate for humidity and temperature ???

Gas sensor: common questions
What microcontroller does the Gas sensor use?
The Gas sensor is built around the ATmega328P-AU, from the AVR/Arduino family.
How big is the Gas sensor PCB?
The Gas sensor measures 100 × 100 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Gas sensor?
32 components, from 24 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Gas sensor design files?
From the Hackuarium/gas-sensor repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Gas sensor design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Hackuarium. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Gas sensor without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
