About the Bluetooth-Transmitter PCB

Bluetooth-Transmitter is an open source PCB design by hahmed14, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 45.8 × 50.3 mm, with 17 components from 13 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the FSC-BT1026E and TP4056-42-ESOP8. By type, the board carries 3 connectors, 3 LEDs, 3 capacitors, 3 resistors, 2 ICs and 1 switch.

It belongs with the audio and iot & wireless designs in this gallery.

From the project

Using bluetooth to revive the 3.5mm headphone jack and make it usable with modern devices with no audio port.

Big thanks to @dremeier for the Feasycom library, you can find it here:https://github.com/dremeier/Kicad-Bluetooth-Feasycom-projekt-library

Used KiCad for the original schematic and PCB design. You can send the Gerbers.zip file to any PCB manufacturer to have the board built. The BOM file specifes the exact part numbers at JLCPCB, you can have them manufacture the chip with all components attached but it'll be quite expesive. Otherwise order just the PCB for a couple dollers and solder the components yourself.

Bluetooth-Transmitter: common questions

How big is the Bluetooth-Transmitter PCB?

The Bluetooth-Transmitter measures 45.8 × 50.3 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Bluetooth-Transmitter?

17 components, from 13 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Bluetooth-Transmitter design files?

From the hahmed14/Bluetooth-Transmitter repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Bluetooth-Transmitter design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with hahmed14. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
