About the ISA 8bitNetwork 8019 PCB

ISA 8bitNetwork 8019 is an open source PCB design by hkzlab, published on GitHub under the CC-BY-NC-4.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 104.1 × 71.9 mm, with 55 components from 25 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the RTL8019AS, AT93C46DN and SST39SF040. By type, the board carries 21 resistors, 16 capacitors, 10 connectors, 3 ICs, 2 jumpers and 1 crystal.

It belongs with the retro computing designs in this gallery.

From the project

8bit ISA NE2000-compatible network card based on the RTL8019AS chip

This is an 8bit reimplementation and repackaging of Manawyrm's ISA8019, a NE2000-compatible card for the ISA bus.

Differences from the original version include: - 8bit only design (significantly more compact than the 16bit version) - Most of the components are now THT (except EEPROM, Network IC and transformer)

I take NO responsibility for what happens if you decide to build and use this card. Your computer might crash, catch fire or be destroyed in other nasty ways. Also, as this card is mostly based on the work of others, You're encourauged to take what you deem fit from this, and use it…
