SleepyLoRa Binds, A LoRa based solution for low power actuation of plantation shutters
This folder contains all the electronics design files, schematics, PCB layouts, and bills of materials (BOM) for the SleepyLoRa Blinds System. The electronics are designed to be easy to assemble, cost-effective, and reliable for DIY smart blinds control.
Each device folder contains: - KiCad project files (.pro, .sch, .kicadpcb`, etc.) - Gerber files for PCB manufacturing - Device-specific BOM (bill of materials)

Blind SleepyLoRa Slave: common questions
What microcontroller does the Blind SleepyLoRa Slave use?
The Blind SleepyLoRa Slave is built around the ESP32SUPERMINI_ESP32-SUPERMINI, from the ESP32 family.
How big is the Blind SleepyLoRa Slave PCB?
The Blind SleepyLoRa Slave measures 130.5 × 39.5 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Blind SleepyLoRa Slave?
17 components, from 8 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Blind SleepyLoRa Slave design files?
From the Hootie81/SleepyLoRa repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Blind SleepyLoRa Slave design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which Hootie81 chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the Blind SleepyLoRa Slave without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
