About the Tapecart progif PCB
Tapecart progif is an open source PCB design by ikorb, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 41.5 × 56 mm, with 19 components from 14 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the 74HC4053 and D5V0F4U6SO. By type, the board carries 7 resistors, 3 transistors, 2 ICs, 2 connectors, 2 diodes and 1 capacitor.
It belongs with the retro computing designs in this gallery.
From the project
a tape port storage pod for the C64
The tapecart mass programmer can be used to flash the firmware of a newly-built tapecart and write data to its flash memory without requiring a C64. It is implemented as an addon board for a Raspberry Pi. Although in theory it should work with almost any version of the Raspberry Pi, it has only been tested with a Raspberry Pi 2.
The finished programmer (without cable) looks like this:

Tapecart progif: common questions
How big is the Tapecart progif PCB?
The Tapecart progif measures 41.5 × 56 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Tapecart progif?
19 components, from 14 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Tapecart progif design files?
From the ikorb/tapecart repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Tapecart progif design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with ikorb. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
