See kamaji.cc for assembly instructions and additional information.

firmware: main source code; demo: code samples; 3d: OpenSCAD models for the enclosure; pcb: schematic and printed circuit board layout in KiCAD format; misc`: the rest.

We use PlatformIO with Arduino framework. It should also be possible to compile the code with the official Arduino IDE.

For v1 and v3 custom fuses must be programmed before first flashing.

Kamaji classic v1: common questions

What microcontroller does the Kamaji classic v1 use?

The Kamaji classic v1 is built around the ATmega328P-P, from the AVR/Arduino family.

How big is the Kamaji classic v1 PCB?

The Kamaji classic v1 measures 100 × 100 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Kamaji classic v1?

27 components, from 17 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Kamaji classic v1 design files?

From the iley/kamaji repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Kamaji classic v1 design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which iley chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the Kamaji classic v1 without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
