About the Guitar-Amp PCB
Guitar-Amp is an open source PCB design by james-wren, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 184.5 × 61 mm, with 28 components from 19 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the L7809 and LM386n-4. By type, the board carries 11 capacitors, 10 resistors, 3 diodes, 2 ICs and 2 transistors.
It belongs with the audio designs in this gallery.
From the project
A 4 inch and electric guitar amplifier using the LM386n-4 and J201 JFETs
The board is designed to use only THT components to save money as it can ban easily soldered with basic tools, to aid in the easy assembly parts are also spread out over a almost 200mm width. Components start on the left with the 1/4 inch jack input, wrap around the top, and end on the right with the speaker output. It is mounted to the case using m2 screws.
