About the Flopper one PCB
Flopper one is an open source ESP32 PCB design by JBlitzar, published on GitHub under the GPL-3.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 76.8 × 63 mm, with 14 components from 10 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the MODULE_DEVKIT_V1_ESP32-WROOM-32, from the ESP32 family. By type, the board carries 6 switches, 2 connectors, 2 resistors, 1 IC, 1 transistor and 1 diode.
It belongs with the iot & wireless, power & battery and displays & leds designs in this gallery.

esp knockoff flipper
Flipper zero-type firmware with an ESP32. Featuring IR, NFC, BLE, wifi, with a dpad and an lcd display. Not designed using any guide!
I've always thought that the flipper zero was pretty cool, but the $200 price point made it seem out of reach.
I joined up blueprint, made the hackpad, learned a lot and had a lot of fun.
Then I saw the sorta flipper zero. This was truly inspring. I saw it, and I thought to myself, I could totally do that. And it turns out I have like half the parts! The ESP has wifi and bluetooth built in (you usually need to pay like $60 extra for wifi on a flipper), all…

Flopper one: common questions
What microcontroller does the Flopper one use?
The Flopper one is built around the MODULE_DEVKIT_V1_ESP32-WROOM-32, from the ESP32 family.
How big is the Flopper one PCB?
The Flopper one measures 76.8 × 63 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Flopper one?
14 components, from 10 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Flopper one design files?
From the JBlitzar/flopper-one repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Flopper one design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its GPL-3.0 license, which JBlitzar chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the Flopper one without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
