I don't have detailed assembly documents yet, and this isn't really well made for easy assembly in any case, it's a proof of concept at the moment.

There are some more details here: https://hackaday.io/project/176607-hydrameter but it's not much. Mainly a few entries down there's a tour of how the analog stuff works: https://hackaday.io/project/176607-hydrameter/log/223270-schematic-and-operation

The KiCad project lives in the jduffy105/HydraMeter_0.4 repository on GitHub; these links point at the commit this page was built from.

HydraMeter 0.4: common questions

What microcontroller does the HydraMeter 0.4 use?

The HydraMeter 0.4 is built around the Pi Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.

How big is the HydraMeter 0.4 PCB?

The HydraMeter 0.4 measures 76.2 × 114.3 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the HydraMeter 0.4?

288 components, from 98 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the HydraMeter 0.4 design files?

From the jduffy105/HydraMeter_0.4 repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the HydraMeter 0.4 design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its CERN-OHL-S-2.0 license, which jduffy105 chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the HydraMeter 0.4 without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
