Bill Of Materials Tools =======================
Command Line tool for converting a Kicad Netlist or an Eagle schematic file to a CSV file in a BOM format.
This will output a csv file that can be opened by just about any spreadsheet program. The parts are grouped by the type of part and identical parts. For the output argument, -o, do not put the file name. The output file will be RootnameofinputfileBOM.csv`.

Bill-Of-Materials-Tools: common questions
What microcontroller does the Bill-Of-Materials-Tools use?
The Bill-Of-Materials-Tools is built around the ATmega328P, from the AVR/Arduino family.
How many components are on the Bill-Of-Materials-Tools?
99 components, from 54 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Bill-Of-Materials-Tools design files?
From the Jesse-Millwood/Bill-Of-Materials-Tools repository on GitHub, which has a netlist and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Bill-Of-Materials-Tools design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Jesse-Millwood. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Bill-Of-Materials-Tools without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
