About the Theee-Ergonomic-Keyboard PCB

Theee-Ergonomic-Keyboard is an open source Nordic nRF PCB design by juanfierro4892, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 264 × 98.5 mm, with 90 components from 5 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the XIAO-nRF52840-SMD, from the Nordic nRF family. By type, the board carries 42 switches, 42 diodes, 4 resistors and 2 ICs.

It belongs with the keyboards designs in this gallery.

From the project

A split keyboard that allows you to work more comfortably and is ergonomic, so you can maintain good posture

An split keyboard that helps you to maintain a good position while you work, play or whatever you do in a computer.

I designed this because I was tired of the back pains so I decided to design and build a keyboard that helps me to maintain a good postion.

The PCB here is how it end look like designed in KiCad with a lot of patience

Theee-Ergonomic-Keyboard: common questions

What microcontroller does the Theee-Ergonomic-Keyboard use?

The Theee-Ergonomic-Keyboard is built around the XIAO-nRF52840-SMD, from the Nordic nRF family.

How big is the Theee-Ergonomic-Keyboard PCB?

The Theee-Ergonomic-Keyboard measures 264 × 98.5 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Theee-Ergonomic-Keyboard?

90 components, from 5 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Theee-Ergonomic-Keyboard design files?

From the juanfierro4892/Theee-Ergonomic-Keyboard repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Theee-Ergonomic-Keyboard design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with juanfierro4892. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Theee-Ergonomic-Keyboard without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug Nordic nRF firmware against it before you order a PCB.
