About the PicoKey PCB
PicoKey is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by Keyaan-07, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 34.5 × 18.5 mm, with 36 components from 17 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the RP2350A-QFN60, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. Other key parts include the AMS1117S-3.3 and W25Q128JVS. By type, the board carries 19 capacitors, 7 resistors, 3 ICs, 2 switches, 2 diodes and 1 crystal.
From the project
A FIDO2 based passkey using the RP2350A and in it's smallest form factor!
I go to highschool, and teens are always around when i try to login to my mail or github or any other account, so my password can be compromised.
To solve this, I created PicoKey, which is a hardware pass key in a very small form factor(34.5mm x 18.5mm). It uses the RP2350A chip, although I wanted to use my favourite MCU, the rp2040, it was not safe as a pass key, so I used the rp2350A this time, which is much more safer and secure than the RP2350A.

PicoKey: common questions
What microcontroller does the PicoKey use?
The PicoKey is built around the RP2350A-QFN60, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.
How big is the PicoKey PCB?
The PicoKey measures 34.5 × 18.5 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the PicoKey?
36 components, from 17 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the PicoKey design files?
From the Keyaan-07/PicoKey repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the PicoKey design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which Keyaan-07 chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the PicoKey without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
