From the project

The WeatherIOT Board is a simple, economical but effective ESP32 board that can be use as datalogger for enviromental monitoring with integrations for smart applications such as greenhouses, beehives, smart sprinklers, and much more

WeatherIOT 0.3: Initial release of the board, implementing connectors for all kind of sensors, including sparkfun weather meter (anemometer and pluviometer), on board buck converter power supply (max 30V input) and ESD Protection

The KiCad project lives in the klinkon-electronics/WeatherIOT-Hardware repository on GitHub; these links point at the commit this page was built from.

Stencil: common questions

What microcontroller does the Stencil use?

The Stencil is built around the Wemos_esp32_mini, from the ESP32 family.

How big is the Stencil PCB?

The Stencil measures 26 × 36 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Stencil?

88 components, from 56 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Stencil design files?

From the klinkon-electronics/WeatherIOT-Hardware repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Stencil design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with klinkon-electronics. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Stencil without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
