Control HW & SW for Solari di Udine platform table ==================================================

This repository contains data to make platform table from company Solari di Udine work.

1. PCB replacing original PCB with CPU Intel 8080 in the table. 2. Firmware to the main MCU of our new PCB (ATmega328p). 3. SW to interact with the table. 4. Web interface to control the table via web browser. 5. Integration with hJOP script to show data from the particular train on the track on the table.

Solari control: common questions

What microcontroller does the Solari control use?

The Solari control is built around the ATmega328P-A, from the AVR/Arduino family.

How big is the Solari control PCB?

The Solari control measures 80 × 90 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Solari control?

106 components, from 35 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Solari control design files?

From the kmzbrnoI/solari-control repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Solari control design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with kmzbrnoI. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Solari control without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
