About the KiCadLogicalSchemeSimulator PCB
KiCadLogicalSchemeSimulator is an open source PCB design by kopavel, published on GitHub under the GPL-3.0 license. It is a board, with 73 components from 33 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the 4011 and 4023. By type, the board carries 2 ICs and 1 microphone.
It belongs with the retro computing designs in this gallery.
From the project
KiCad-drawn logical scheme simulator.
Simulator doesn't support any analog schema elements, so video and audio tape circuits cutted off. For proper simulation ROM dumps needed. Gradle task got it from public resources: BIOS: https://github.com/RetroStack/TRS-80-Model-I-System-ROMs CharGen: https://github.com/RetroStack/CharacterGeneratorROMs
On an Intel i7-3770s processor, this schema achieved almost realtime speed.
