About the Line PCB
Line is an open source NXP PCB design by Kushal-Sachdeva78, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 183 × 140 mm, with 13 components from 6 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the TEENSY 4.1, from the NXP family. By type, the board carries 5 capacitors and 2 connectors.
It belongs with the robotics & motion and sensors designs in this gallery.
From the project
Autonomous RoboCupJunior Soccer (IR League) robots by Team VVS Ballers: 9th place at RoboCup 2026 in Incheon. Teensy 4.1 multi-board electronics, IR/line/ultrasonic sensing, OpenMV vision, 48 V solenoid kicker. Firmware, KiCad PCBs, Fusion 360 CAD.
KiCad sources, Gerbers, drill and job files for every board, plus human-readable wiring and ready-to-order fab packages.
The previous main board revision is archived in ../Legacy/PCB/Mainv1`.
Each board folder is a KiCad project — open the .kicadpro (the matching .kicadpcb and .kicadsch sit beside it). The loose .gbr / .drl / .gbrjob files are generated fabrication outputs; for ordering, prefer the zipped packages in Fabrication/. KiCad local-settings files (.kicadprl) and auto-backups are intentionally git-ignored.

Line: common questions
What microcontroller does the Line use?
The Line is built around the TEENSY 4.1, from the NXP family.
How big is the Line PCB?
The Line measures 183 × 140 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Line?
13 components, from 6 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Line design files?
From the Kushal-Sachdeva78/VVS-Ballers-RoboCup repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Line design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which Kushal-Sachdeva78 chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the Line without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug NXP firmware against it before you order a PCB.
