Make your Raspberry Pi portable to edit your code anywhere

Is a Father Board witch can connect to the raspberry pi (currently compatible to this gpio configuration, orange pi thinkercard, an anothers) this aport an Screen and keyboard (on one board) then i will add more things like audio jack, ethernet port, hub USB and everything you can imagine and put in your pockets.

everything looked like fine until the company that makes CHIP, declared bankrupt.

PortablePi v89: common questions

What microcontroller does the PortablePi v89 use?

The PortablePi v89 is built around the Raspberry_Pi_Zero_W_(v1.3), from the Raspberry Pi family.

How big is the PortablePi v89 PCB?

The PortablePi v89 measures 109.2 × 158.7 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the PortablePi v89?

72 components, from 6 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the PortablePi v89 design files?

From the lucahttp/PortablePi repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the PortablePi v89 design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with lucahttp. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the PortablePi v89 without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug Raspberry Pi firmware against it before you order a PCB.
