About the Teresina PCB

Teresina is an open source STM32 PCB design by marcoallegretti, published on GitHub. It is a 12-layer board measuring 18 × 52.5 mm, with 86 components from 38 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the STM32H750IBK6, from the STM32 family. Other key parts include the IS25LP064A-JBLE, AS4C16M32MSA-6BIN, PCM3060PWR, TPS62170DSGR and LP2985-50DBVT. By type, the board carries 46 capacitors, 19 resistors, 7 ICs, 4 connectors, 4 diodes and 3 inductors.

It belongs with the dev boards & breakouts designs in this gallery.

From the project

Teresina is a 52 × 18 mm STM32H750 module

An open, self-fabricable clone of the Electro-Smith Daisy Seed (Rev7).

Teresina is an STM32H750 audio module designed to be pin, peripheral and firmware compatible with the Daisy Seed — same header pinout, same peripherals, same libDaisy board detection — so it drops into existing Daisy carrier boards and runs stock Daisy firmware unmodified.

The motivation is supply: the Daisy Seed (and comparable H750 dev boards) go in and out of stock, while every individual component is orderable today. Teresina is built to be manufactured at JLCPCB from parts in their catalog.

Teresina: common questions

What microcontroller does the Teresina use?

The Teresina is built around the STM32H750IBK6, from the STM32 family.

How big is the Teresina PCB?

The Teresina measures 18 × 52.5 mm, has 12 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Teresina?

86 components, from 38 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Teresina design files?

From the marcoallegretti/Teresina repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Teresina design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with marcoallegretti. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Teresina without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
