About the PCB

PCB is an open source PCB design by MarianAbebe, published on GitHub. It is a 4-layer board measuring 54.9 × 39.8 mm, with 47 components from 23 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the TPS62130 and INA219AxD. By type, the board carries 21 resistors, 11 capacitors, 4 ICs, 4 diodes, 2 connectors and 2 inductors.

It belongs with the science & space and test & measurement designs in this gallery.

From the project

Embedded power regulation PCB with telemetry, health monitoring, and fault detection for CubeSat electrical power systems.

The CubeSat Power Management System (CPMS) is a custom electrical power subsystem (EPS) development board inspired by CubeSat power architectures. Its purpose is to design, manufacture, and validate a professional-grade power-regulation and health-monitoring PCB using an engineering process representative of aerospace hardware development.

Unlike PCB projects focused only on schematic capture and layout, CPMS covers the complete engineering lifecycle: requirements definition, system architecture, component selection, design analysis, verification planning, hardware bring-up, firmware…
