About the Master Thesis PCB
Master Thesis is an open source PCB design by MartinBraquet, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 4-layer board measuring 47 × 38.4 mm, with 23 components from 21 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the AT45DB321E-SHF-B and CMWX1ZZABZ-091. By type, the board carries 9 capacitors, 6 connectors, 3 resistors, 2 ICs, 2 switches and 1 diode.
It belongs with the audio and sensors designs in this gallery.
From the project
Design of an ultra-low-power energy-harvesting audio sensor for ecosystem monitoring (June 2020).
Here are the source files of my Master's thesis at UCLouvain (June 2020).
It includes all the simulations required for this work: Audio processing: C code for the microcontroller and Matlab code to process the data (plot the graphs) received from the board BOM: Excel file with the bill of materials IV mic: Matlab code to plot the IV curves (current/voltage) of different microphones Microcontroller: Wisebatt simulation to provide a rough estimate of the whole system power consumption Microphone: LTspice and Matlab codes for the microphone/AFE subsystem (AC and noise) PCB: KiCad and Eagle…
