About the 14mhz accelerator PCB
14mhz accelerator is an open source PCB design by Mathesar, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 84 × 89 mm, with 40 components from 21 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the 512K*8_SRAM, MC68HC000, 74ACT02, 74HCT74 and 74ACT112. By type, the board carries 17 capacitors, 11 ICs, 5 resistors, 4 jumpers and 3 connectors.
It belongs with the retro computing and test & measurement designs in this gallery.
From the project
14MHz 68000 accelerator with 1MB fast ram for amiga 500
This is 14MHz 68000 accelerator with 1MB fast ram and disable switch for the Amiga. Tested on a rev. 5 Amiga 500. It might also work on other revisions and Amiga models but that has not been tested. The design is licensed under CERN OHL-S V2.0
The design is a complete overhaul of a design by Livio Plos and Jorg Richter. Although based upon that design so much has been changed that it is almost like a new design.

14mhz accelerator: common questions
How big is the 14mhz accelerator PCB?
The 14mhz accelerator measures 84 × 89 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the 14mhz accelerator?
40 components, from 21 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the 14mhz accelerator design files?
From the Mathesar/14mhz-accelerator repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the 14mhz accelerator design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Mathesar. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
