About the TangNano20K-BaseBoard PCB

TangNano20K-BaseBoard is an open source PCB design by michalgluszak, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 100 × 90 mm, with 49 components from 12 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the CC56-12EWA and SSD1306. By type, the board carries 26 resistors, 5 switches, 4 transistors, 4 connectors, 4 diodes and 2 ICs.

It belongs with the displays & leds, sensors and dev boards & breakouts designs in this gallery.

From the project

The Tang Nano 20K Evaluation Board is a custom motherboard designed to make learning and prototyping digital circuits easier using Hardware Description Languages (HDL), like Verilog and VHDL.

The idea for this project came from a desire to test written code in practice. Commercial evaluation platforms, like Basys 3 or boards based on Artix 7 chips, are relatively expensive. As an alternative, I chose the Tang Nano 20K chip, which offers great features at a very affordable price (around 120 PLN). To make working with this module easier, I designed a dedicated expansion board.
