About the Cody PCB
Cody is an open source ESP32 PCB design by Mikuel210, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 125 × 99.9 mm, with 30 components from 22 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the ESP32-DEVKITC-32D, from the ESP32 family. By type, the board carries 13 connectors, 7 ICs, 7 resistors, 1 buzzer, 1 switch and 1 diode.
It belongs with the robotics & motion, power & battery and sensors designs in this gallery.

A robot for the next season of WRO Robomission Senior
Cody is a robot for the next season of WRO Robomission Senior.
The World Robot Olympiad (WRO) is a global robotics competition. For the Robomission challenge, you have to design, build and program a robot to complete a set of challenges on a board in under 2 minutes. Cody is our attempt at making our best robot so far, and I'm designing it to be faster, more precise and more reliable than all of our previous.

Cody: common questions
What microcontroller does the Cody use?
The Cody is built around the ESP32-DEVKITC-32D, from the ESP32 family.
How big is the Cody PCB?
The Cody measures 125 × 99.9 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Cody?
30 components, from 22 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Cody design files?
From the Mikuel210/Cody repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Cody design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Mikuel210. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Cody without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
