About the Starkit PCB
Starkit is an open source ESP32 PCB design by Mikuel210, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 65 × 112.5 mm, with 25 components from 11 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the ESP32-DEVKITC-32D, from the ESP32 family. By type, the board carries 7 connectors, 4 crystals, 4 inductors, 4 resistors, 3 ICs and 1 diode.
It belongs with the power & battery designs in this gallery.

A thrust vector controlled electric model rocket designed for propulsive landings
Starkit is a thrust vector controlled electric model rocket designed for propulsive landings
I'm building an electric model rocket capable of taking off vertically, hovering and landing propulsively by using thrust vector control (TVC).
- Propulsion: I'm using two counter rotating brushless motors and 7" propellers. Each motor is powered by its own 6S LiPo battery and 60A ESC. - Avionics: The main flight computer is an ESP32. I'm using an MPU9250 for orientation and a TF-Luna LiDAR for measuring altitude. - Control: I'm using four TVC vanes driven by four Corona DS918MG servos. - Software…

Starkit: common questions
What microcontroller does the Starkit use?
The Starkit is built around the ESP32-DEVKITC-32D, from the ESP32 family.
How big is the Starkit PCB?
The Starkit measures 65 × 112.5 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Starkit?
25 components, from 11 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Starkit design files?
From the Mikuel210/Starkit repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Starkit design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Mikuel210. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Starkit without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
