About the Jamme PCB

Jamme is an open source ESP32 PCB design by MRxAlc0h0lic, published on GitHub. It is a board, with 18 components from 12 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the ESP32-WROOM-32, from the ESP32 family. Other key parts include the nRF24_PA_LNA, TP4056_USB-C and AMS1117-3.3. By type, the board carries 6 capacitors, 5 ICs, 3 switches, 2 resistors, 1 connector and 1 battery holder.

It belongs with the power & battery designs in this gallery.

From the project

A custom carrier board that holds: - ESP32-WROOM-32 (soldered on the board) - 2× nRF24L01+ PA/LNA modules (plug into 2×4 sockets) — antennas face up / out - TP4056 USB-C charger — on the back, USB-C at the board edge - 18650 cell holder — on the back - ON/OFF slide switch + 3.3 V

Jamme: common questions

What microcontroller does the Jamme use?

The Jamme is built around the ESP32-WROOM-32, from the ESP32 family.

How many components are on the Jamme?

18 components, from 12 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Jamme design files?

From the MRxAlc0h0lic/jamme_pcb repository on GitHub, which has a netlist and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Jamme design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with MRxAlc0h0lic. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Jamme without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
