About the Keyboadr PCB

Keyboadr is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by NEOgHacking, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 433.4 × 118.8 mm, with 248 components from 25 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the RP2354B, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. Other key parts include the USBLC6-2SC6 and AP7361C-33E-13. By type, the board carries 107 switches, 105 diodes, 19 capacitors, 8 resistors, 4 connectors and 3 ICs.

It belongs with the keyboards designs in this gallery.

From the project

A fast 100% keyboard speedrun 3 days before blueprint ends

So this keyboadr was made by me and it was decided this project would be made 3 days before the end date of blueprint. Its a 100% keyboard with 2 displays and a rotary encoder. It uses a custom rp2354B build in as the processor. This has been made in a very constrainged time with a custom rp2354B implementation as a controller. It uses simple 0.91 inch displays and a rotary encoder.

Keyboadr: common questions

What microcontroller does the Keyboadr use?

The Keyboadr is built around the RP2354B, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.

How big is the Keyboadr PCB?

The Keyboadr measures 433.4 × 118.8 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Keyboadr?

248 components, from 25 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Keyboadr design files?

From the NEOgHacking/Keyboadr repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Keyboadr design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with NEOgHacking. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Keyboadr without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
