About the Fallout event proj PCB
Fallout event proj is an open source ESP32 PCB design by nirvaankohli, published on GitHub. It is a board, with 17 components from 11 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the XIAO-ESP32-C3-DIP, from the ESP32 family. Other key parts include the H-BridgeDRV8833PW and BuckConverterR-78E5.0-1.0. By type, the board carries 9 connectors, 3 ICs, 2 modules, 1 switch, 1 capacitor and 1 resistor.
It belongs with the robotics & motion and iot & wireless designs in this gallery.

So the world is ending on the 7th of July, and the human species may not survive. Soup, however, can survive the incoming apocalypse, but only with help. Soup needs a companion to accompany itself(as soup can't walk) to preserve the legacy of humankind for the next species to rule Earth.
FALL-E is a robot inspired by the Pixar movie "WALL-E" and is meant to preserve soup and the legacy of the human species after the destruction of the world. It has a tank-drive chassis with two independent tracks(motor on each side).

Fallout event proj: common questions
What microcontroller does the Fallout event proj use?
The Fallout event proj is built around the XIAO-ESP32-C3-DIP, from the ESP32 family.
How many components are on the Fallout event proj?
17 components, from 11 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Fallout event proj design files?
From the nirvaankohli/fallout-event-proj repository on GitHub, which has the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Fallout event proj design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with nirvaankohli. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Fallout event proj without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
