About the PCB AX12

PCB AX12 is an open source STM32 PCB design by PCBrs, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 62 × 45.3 mm, with 42 components from 25 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the STM32F302C6Tx, from the STM32 family. Other key parts include the SN65HVD232 and NCP1117-3.3_SOT223. By type, the board carries 15 capacitors, 9 resistors, 8 connectors, 5 diodes, 3 ICs and 1 crystal.

It belongs with the robotics & motion designs in this gallery.

From the project

PCB AX12: common questions

What microcontroller does the PCB AX12 use?

The PCB AX12 is built around the STM32F302C6Tx, from the STM32 family.

How big is the PCB AX12?

The PCB AX12 measures 62 × 45.3 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the PCB AX12?

42 components, from 25 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the PCB AX12 design files?

From the PCBrs/CDR-Electronique repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the PCB AX12 design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with PCBrs. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the PCB AX12 without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
