About the Ionto Current Source Core PCB

Ionto Current Source Core is an open source PCB design by Pluze, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 27 × 20 mm, with 8 components from 8 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the R1218N041A-TR-FE. By type, the board carries 3 connectors, 2 capacitors, 1 IC, 1 inductor and 1 resistor.

It belongs with the power & battery designs in this gallery.

From the project

Reference and experimental KiCad PCB designs with reusable agent workflows

This project is a minimum verifiable implementation of the paper's R1218-based stimulation architecture. It accepts a protected 1-cell LiPo and provides one two-wire constant-current output. Charging, timing, wireless power, channel decoding, switches, and miniaturization are deliberately omitted.

This is an experimental electrical prototype, not a medically certified device. Do not connect it to a person until current limits, isolation, electrodes, open-load behavior, fault behavior, and applicable safety requirements have been reviewed by a qualified engineer.
