About the Roscram01 PCB

Roscram01 is an open source PCB design by rosco-m68k, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 122 × 104 mm, with 28 components from 13 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the ATF16V8VQL-15PU, 74LS139, IS61C5128AL-10KLI, AS6C4008-55PCN and MCP2221AXP. By type, the board carries 11 capacitors, 9 ICs, 5 resistors, 1 transistor, 1 connector and 1 jumper.

Supporting hardware, expansions and projects for the rosco_m68k

This is a memory expansion for the rosco_m68k. It uses static RAM (AS6C4008, the same memory chip as the on-board RAM) and supports 1MB-4MB of RAM per board.

Multiple RAM expansions can co-exist in the same system due to the base address for the expansion being selectable by three jumpers on the board.

This will be available on Tindie soon. The board looks like this:

Roscram01: common questions

How big is the Roscram01 PCB?

The Roscram01 measures 122 × 104 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Roscram01?

28 components, from 13 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Roscram01 design files?

From the rosco-m68k/hardware-projects repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Roscram01 design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which rosco-m68k chose for the repository.
