About the Sduino uno PCB

Sduino uno is an open source STM32 PCB design by roybaer, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 68.6 × 53.3 mm, with 45 components from 31 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the STM8S105K6T6C_LQFP32, from the STM32 family. Other key parts include the NCP1117-5.0_SOT223, NCP1117-3.3_SOT223, CH340G, LM358 and STM8S105K6U6A_UFQFPN32. By type, the board carries 12 capacitors, 6 ICs, 5 crystals, 4 LEDs, 3 resistors and 2 connectors.

It belongs with the dev boards & breakouts and usb & debug tools designs in this gallery.

From the project

A development board with STM8S105K6 MCU in Arduino UNO form factor

The sduino UNO is an attempt at creating a mechanically and electrically Arduino-UNO-compatible development board based on the STM8S105K6 microcontroller. Both, mechanical and electrical design are to a notable degree based on the Arduino UNO board.

Components and silkscreen can be viewed in more detail in a picture of the component side and a picture of the back side of the assembled board.

Sduino uno: common questions

What microcontroller does the Sduino uno use?

The Sduino uno is built around the STM8S105K6T6C_LQFP32, from the STM32 family.

How big is the Sduino uno PCB?

The Sduino uno measures 68.6 × 53.3 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Sduino uno?

45 components, from 31 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Sduino uno design files?

From the roybaer/sduino_uno repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Sduino uno design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with roybaer. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Sduino uno without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
