Its main chip is the STM32G441KB, from the STM32 family. Other key parts include the USBLC6-2SC6, 74HC14, 24C32 and STP16CP05. By type, the board carries 80 diodes, 72 resistors, 39 relays, 19 capacitors, 15 test points and 7 ICs.

From the project

A SCPI programmable precision resistor

WARNING: The programmable power resistor presented is mains powered. On the power supply board there will be mains/line voltage. Working with/on such devices can lead to damage, injury or death. Don't do it if you're not qualified or authorized to do so. You use the circuits described at you own risk. You have to make sure that the circuit is safe and adheres to the applicable standards in your location. You might operate the mainboard and ui board more safely with a bench or external power supply.

Mainboard: common questions

What microcontroller does the Mainboard use?

The Mainboard is built around the STM32G441KB, from the STM32 family.

How big is the Mainboard PCB?

The Mainboard measures 139 × 190 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Mainboard?

245 components, from 53 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Mainboard design files?

From the sbstnh/programmable_precision_resistor repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Mainboard design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its BSD-3-Clause license, which sbstnh chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the Mainboard without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
