About the Vectorscope GuyFawkes PCB

Vectorscope GuyFawkes is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by shabaz123, published on GitHub under the GPL-3.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 14 × 1 mm, with 81 components from 35 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the Pi Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. Other key parts include the AK4619, LMV324, TLC59283, TPA321 and LM4040C30. By type, the board carries 24 capacitors, 16 resistors, 15 switches, 8 diodes, 6 ICs and 5 connectors.

From the project

A reimplementation of the Vectorscope from https://github.com/Hack-a-Day/Vectorscope

A reimplementation of the Vectorscope from https://github.com/Hack-a-Day/Vectorscope

This version is simply called Vectorscope_GuyFawkes for no other reason other than to identify it from the various other implementations, since it was created on a November.

This version was created using KiCad without importing any schematic or PCB or Gerber files, since I didn't know of a way to do that. No guarantee it will work!

Vectorscope GuyFawkes: common questions

What microcontroller does the Vectorscope GuyFawkes use?

The Vectorscope GuyFawkes is built around the Pi Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.

How big is the Vectorscope GuyFawkes PCB?

The Vectorscope GuyFawkes measures 14 × 1 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Vectorscope GuyFawkes?

81 components, from 35 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Vectorscope GuyFawkes design files?

From the shabaz123/Vectorscope_GuyFawkes repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Vectorscope GuyFawkes design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its GPL-3.0 license, which shabaz123 chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the Vectorscope GuyFawkes without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
