About the Jag board

Jag board is an open source STM32 PCB design by soerenmeier, published on GitHub under the Apache-2.0 license. It is a 4-layer board measuring 95 × 56 mm, with 51 components from 36 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the STM32F302C8Tx, from the STM32 family. Other key parts include the LM2576HVS-5, LSM6DSR, ATGM336H-5N, EEPROM 64K and AMS1117-3.3. By type, the board carries 19 capacitors, 12 resistors, 8 ICs, 4 diodes, 2 crystals and 2 connectors.

From the project

Jag board is an attempt to make a pcb which can be used to control different kinds of rc vehicles. At first the focus will be on rc cars, which can be controlled via a web interface and a webcam.

Jag board: common questions

What microcontroller does the Jag board use?

The Jag board is built around the STM32F302C8Tx, from the STM32 family.

How big is the Jag board?

The Jag board measures 95 × 56 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 4.69 mm thick.

How many components are on the Jag board?

51 components, from 36 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Jag board design files?

From the soerenmeier/jag-board repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Jag board design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its Apache-2.0 license, which soerenmeier chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the Jag board without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
