About the DMX Demonstrator - Receiver (DMX-RX1) PCB

DMX Demonstrator - Receiver (DMX-RX1) is an open source PCB design by SparkyBobo, published on GitHub under the GPL-3.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 68.6 × 53.3 mm, with 19 components from 12 distinct parts.

By type, the board carries 8 diodes, 8 resistors and 3 connectors.

From the project

DMX Demonstrator

The Receiver is an Arduino Shield which accepts the 3-wire data/clock signal from the Transmitter (DMX-TX1) and decodes the data stream to control the brightness of 4 LEDs.

You can also buy the parts for the Receiver online from a Wishlist:

- Sparkfun: Common, DMX-RX1 - Adafruit: Common, DMX-RX1

The Receiver needs parts from the common parts list but there are enough parts left over to build a Transmitter (DMX-TX1), Transmitter IO (DMX-TX2), and Frame Scrambler (DMX-FS1).
