About the DMX Demonstrator - Transmitter (DMX-TX1) PCB

DMX Demonstrator - Transmitter (DMX-TX1) is an open source PCB design by SparkyBobo, published on GitHub under the GPL-3.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 68.6 × 53.3 mm, with 17 components from 10 distinct parts.

By type, the board carries 8 diodes, 8 resistors and 1 connector.

From the project

DMX Demonstrator

The Transmitter is an Arduino Shield which provides the 3-wire data/clock signal to the Receiver (DMX-RX1) and encode the data stream to control the brightness of 4 LEDs.

You can also buy the parts for the Transmitter online from a Wishlist:

- Sparkfun: Common, DMX-TX1 - Adafruit: Common, DMX-TX1. Note that VR1 is not included.

The Transmitter needs parts from the common parts list but there are enough parts left over to build a Transmitter IO (DMX-TX2), Receiver (DMX-RX1), and Frame Scrambler (DMX-FS1).
