About the PerfDAC buffers PCB

PerfDAC buffers is an open source PCB design by svgeesus, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 46.5 × 23.4 mm, with 33 components from 8 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the OPA4340UA. By type, the board carries 16 resistors, 10 capacitors, 4 connectors and 2 ICs.

It belongs with the audio designs in this gallery.

From the project

Eurorack MPE implementation, 2 to 8 voices

Inspired by the use of duophony on the ARP 2600 and Odyssey, this is a MIDI to CV Eurorack module with twin outputs: low-note priority and high-note priority.

Re-utilising designs from the polyphonic Euro-MPE project, this aims to be a high-precison, flexible, and performance oriented duophonic MIDI to Eurorack CV module. It's MPE compatible, so there is independent expression on each of the two notes.

PerfDAC buffers: common questions

How big is the PerfDAC buffers PCB?

The PerfDAC buffers measures 46.5 × 23.4 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the PerfDAC buffers?

33 components, from 8 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the PerfDAC buffers design files?

From the svgeesus/EuroMPE repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the PerfDAC buffers design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which svgeesus chose for the repository.
