About the C64 Pi1541-III Module Panel

C64 Pi1541-III Module Panel is an open source PCB design by tebl, published on GitHub under the CERN-OHL-1.2 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 100 × 23.2 mm, with 11 components from 8 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the OLED. By type, the board carries 4 modules, 2 switches, 2 diodes, 1 IC and 1 connector.

It belongs with the retro computing and displays & leds designs in this gallery.

From the project

I wanted a Pi1541-module that did not feel like I was handling bare electronics, so I made another that manages to hide most of the scary bits without needing a 3d-printer.

1) Many of these will be listed for sale as 1.3" ssd1306-based OLED displays, but they actually have the slightly different sh1106-controller. Something to keep in mind when ordering. 2) These are used in various places of the project, these are available in the form of kits usually advertised M3 nylon standoff kit which should contain most of what you'd need though you should check that they include them in sufficient quantity.
