About the PowerPack PCB
PowerPack is an open source PCB design by UMDBPP, published on GitHub. It is a 4-layer board measuring 45.6 × 25 mm, with 51 components from 33 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the TPS2121RUXR, LT6703CDC-3, MAX77857 and MAX25232ATCB/V+T. By type, the board carries 21 capacitors, 14 resistors, 4 ICs, 4 test points, 4 inductors and 3 connectors.
It belongs with the rf & radio designs in this gallery.
From the project
2nd version of a LoRa tracker now using a +30dBm radio coupled with a MIA-M10 for proper tracking.
The system is split into two boards. The primary "logic" board contains the embedded and RF devices. The PowerPack contains all of the necessary circuitry to switch between USB and Battery power sources as well as produce +5V and +3.3V filtered supply rails.
