About the Andotrope PCB
Andotrope is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by Victor-Field, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 60 × 59.3 mm, with 30 components from 18 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the RP2040-Zero, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. Other key parts include the MIC5504-3.3YM5-TR, TCS40DLR and MCP73831T-2ACI/OT. By type, the board carries 12 resistors, 7 capacitors, 4 ICs, 2 connectors, 1 transistor and 1 diode.
It belongs with the power & battery designs in this gallery.

DIY open source andotrope
Open Source andotrope I made, for anyone that wants to build their own andotrope. Credit to the idea of an andotrope goes to Mike Ando https://www.riumplus.com/gehns-holographic-imager-andotrope/ I came up with the method of creating the see through effect.
This is just a prototype and certain things don't work properly yet, please read the issues.
We use a rp2040 zero as the main microcontroller.

Andotrope: common questions
What microcontroller does the Andotrope use?
The Andotrope is built around the RP2040-Zero, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.
How big is the Andotrope PCB?
The Andotrope measures 60 × 59.3 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Andotrope?
30 components, from 18 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Andotrope design files?
From the Victor-Field/Andotrope repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Andotrope design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Victor-Field. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Andotrope without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
