From the project

Data logger

MCU Data Logger is a hardware-based data logging system designed to record and store data efficiently. The system is built using the ATmega328P-AU microcontroller, 24LC1025 EEPROM, and DS1337 RTC for precise timekeeping. The hardware is designed in KiCad 9, with 2-layer PCB.

- 🖥️ ATmega328P-AU (MCU) - Serves as the main processing unit. - Handles data acquisition, processing, and communication. - Supports multiple communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C).

MCU-Data-Logger: common questions

What microcontroller does the MCU-Data-Logger use?

The MCU-Data-Logger is built around the ATMEGA328P-AU, from the AVR/Arduino family.

How big is the MCU-Data-Logger PCB?

The MCU-Data-Logger measures 53 × 40.3 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the MCU-Data-Logger?

25 components, from 16 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the MCU-Data-Logger design files?

From the VishwanathKambalyal/MCU-Data-Logger repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the MCU-Data-Logger design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with VishwanathKambalyal. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the MCU-Data-Logger without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
