Other key parts include the TFP401APZPR, FH34SRJ-45S-0.5SH(50), AT24C02C-SSHM-T, PCA9306 and TPS54202DDCR. By type, the board carries 40 capacitors, 23 resistors, 10 ICs, 7 inductors, 6 diodes and 2 transistors.

It belongs with the displays & leds and test & measurement designs in this gallery.

From the project

A project dedicated to utilising a 7 inch LCD panel as a standalone monitor via a HDMI-parallel RGB converter and a Pico 2 fitted on a custom PCB

I have been reverse engineering a 7" LCD panel that I pulled out of a vehicle dashboard, in hopes of using it as a standalone monitor. Currently the final product is ready, only ordering the PCB and 3d-printing the case is left.

This panel comes from an Audi Q7 instrument cluster (dashboard). Prior to this, I was able to control the entire dashboard via the CAN protocol. After that, I had the dream of being able to control the LCD entirely independently. I have always found it interesting reverse engineering things and making them work how I want, so I believed this project would be a great…
