About the Fpvlaptracker PCB
Fpvlaptracker is an open source ESP32 PCB design by warhog, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 49 × 49.9 mm, with 28 components from 19 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the ESP-32_WROOM32, from the ESP32 family. Other key parts include the RX5808 and LM1117-3.3. By type, the board carries 10 resistors, 6 capacitors, 3 ICs, 3 connectors, 3 switches and 3 diodes.
It belongs with the power & battery designs in this gallery.
From the project
simple fpv lap tracking software, firmware and hardware
this is the currently used hardware platform based on esp32 and rx5808.
for firmware building and flashing read this
most of the pcb parts are found in the bom csv file.
some additional parts are needed optionally: heatsink with 20x20 mm and heatsink glue for the rx5808 5v power supply board if you want to power from a LiPo, ..., i used the pololu D24V10F5 for this.

Fpvlaptracker: common questions
What microcontroller does the Fpvlaptracker use?
The Fpvlaptracker is built around the ESP-32_WROOM32, from the ESP32 family.
How big is the Fpvlaptracker PCB?
The Fpvlaptracker measures 49 × 49.9 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Fpvlaptracker?
28 components, from 19 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Fpvlaptracker design files?
From the warhog/fpvlaptracker repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Fpvlaptracker design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which warhog chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the Fpvlaptracker without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
