About the AS5047P-Board

AS5047P-Board is an open source PCB design by Westly-Bouchard, published on GitHub under the CERN-OHL-W-2.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 28.8 × 27.8 mm, with 10 components from 7 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the AS5047P-ATSM. By type, the board carries 4 connectors, 3 resistors, 2 capacitors and 1 IC.

It belongs with the robotics & motion and dev boards & breakouts designs in this gallery.

KiCad Project for an AS5047P Breakout Board

Big thanks to PCBWay for sponsoring this project! Their support enables me (and hundreds of other designers) to make cool stuff. More info in Manufacturing This is a breakout pcb for the commonly used AS5047P magnetic position sensor IC. Its SPI communication protocols are supported by many motor drivers such as VESCs and ODrives (newer ODrives have them built in, but boards based on the older open source designs like the ODesc don't). I designed this in KiCad, so if you want to work on it you'll need to install that.
