About the Solenoid driver PCB

Solenoid driver is an open source PCB design by wntrblm, published on GitHub under the CC-BY-NC-4.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 40 × 30 mm, with 20 components from 13 distinct parts.

By type, the board carries 7 resistors, 6 diodes, 4 connectors, 2 transistors and 1 capacitor.

It belongs with the dev boards & breakouts designs in this gallery.

From the project

Jellyfish and Starfish are control boards designed for use with the LumenPnP. Starfish controls the base of the machine including X & Y axes and pneumatics. Jellyfish controls the head of the machine including the Z, A, and B axes.

Solenoid driver: common questions

How big is the Solenoid driver PCB?

The Solenoid driver measures 40 × 30 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Solenoid driver?

20 components, from 13 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Solenoid driver design files?

From the wntrblm/jellyfish-and-starfish repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Solenoid driver design in my own project?

It is published under CC-BY-NC-4.0, which limits how it may be reused; read the license before building on it.
