About the Flowey board
Flowey board is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by Wojtekb30, published on GitHub under the Custom license license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 109 × 100.3 mm, with 41 components from 13 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the RaspberryPi_Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. Other key parts include the ADS1115IDGSR, INA333AIDGKR, DS3231M+TRL and 1027. By type, the board carries 18 resistors, 8 connectors, 7 capacitors, 5 ICs, 1 module and 1 switch.
From the project
[WIP] A device for reading and saving bioelectric signals of plants
A device for reading and saving bioelectric signals of plants.
I will write a more detailed description once I recieve it from manufacturing and make software for it, but this device reads analog signals, amplifies them and reads them with a 16-bit ADC.
It also has a RTC, port for connecting a photodiode, ports for connecting a dirt moisture sensor, and a potentiometer which allows to somewhat manually write an information/note (for example you can agree that if it's set to 100% it's a note meaning "I forgot to water the plant")

Flowey board: common questions
What microcontroller does the Flowey board use?
The Flowey board is built around the RaspberryPi_Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.
How big is the Flowey board?
The Flowey board measures 109 × 100.3 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Flowey board?
41 components, from 13 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Flowey board design files?
From the Wojtekb30/Flowey-board repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Flowey board design in my own project?
It is published under Custom license, which limits how it may be reused; read the license before building on it.
Can I test firmware for the Flowey board without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
