About the USB-GC2 PCB

USB-GC2 is an open source PCB design by Xenii1642, published on GitHub under the CERN-OHL-S-2.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 29.1 × 45.1 mm, with 19 components from 17 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the CH224K and TPS621351RGXR. By type, the board carries 6 resistors, 5 capacitors, 3 connectors, 2 ICs, 1 switch and 1 diode.

It belongs with the power & battery designs in this gallery.

From the project

Meet the new generation of USB-C GameCube Power Board. Now compatible with both 12V and 15V chargers. Two voltages, twice the potential.

USB-GC2 is new generation GameCube Power Board. It allows powering the console with USB-C Power Delivery. It also contains a switch to select between 12V or 15V input, making it compatible with a variety of Power Delivery chargers. This second revision also integrates securities, which protects the GameCube against voltage spikes. But most importantly, USB-GC2 is now open-source!
