About the Esp garage hardware PCB
Esp garage hardware is an open source ESP32 PCB design by xhivo97, published on GitHub under the Apache-2.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 80.5 × 91.4 mm, with 47 components from 21 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the ESP32-C3-WROOM-02, from the ESP32 family. Other key parts include the dc-dc_3A5V, G5LA-14-DC5 and AMS1117-3.3. By type, the board carries 15 resistors, 8 connectors, 6 ICs, 6 diodes, 6 capacitors and 3 transistors.
It belongs with the robotics & motion designs in this gallery.

ESP32-C3 Garage Opener PCB
NOTE: The hardware is in its early development. This is meant to replace your garage opener, if you'd like to use this with your existing garage door opener only slight modifications are needed. As of now relays control the motor, in the future there will be a motor driver circuit integrated on the PCB.
If you build this and the board resets when pulling high currents you may need to add a capacitor between IN+ and IN-.

Esp garage hardware: common questions
What microcontroller does the Esp garage hardware use?
The Esp garage hardware is built around the ESP32-C3-WROOM-02, from the ESP32 family.
How big is the Esp garage hardware PCB?
The Esp garage hardware measures 80.5 × 91.4 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Esp garage hardware?
47 components, from 21 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Esp garage hardware design files?
From the xhivo97/esp-garage-hardware repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Esp garage hardware design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its Apache-2.0 license, which xhivo97 chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the Esp garage hardware without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
